Haval showed a new crossover H7: they are waiting for it in Russia

The general director of the brand, Zhao Yongpo, published an image of a promising SUV on social networks. The Chinese Haval H7 is an updated Xiaolong Max, while abroad (including in Russia) the second generation Big Dog (Dargo) will be sold under the name H7. At the same time, the Chinese “seven” was promised to the Russians under the name F8: in 2023, this crossover was even tested at the Tula Haval plant.

The Chinese office of Haval promised that the updated H7 will enter the domestic market in 2025. Last fall, such a car was certified, and spy photographers came across an interior without camouflage. The length/width/height of the model are 4758/1895/1725 millimeters, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2800 millimeters. Thus, the crossover is almost exactly the same size as the new Haval F7.

A Russian blogger disassembled a Haval Jolion with a mileage of 130 thousand km. Haval priced crossovers produced in 2025 in rubles: they are more expensive. The new Haval F7 is a hero of its era.

The fundamental difference is the presence of a plug-in hybrid system with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor. A lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 27.5 kilowatt-hours will allow you to travel up to 126 kilometers (CLTC) without activating the internal combustion engine. After restyling, the battery capacity will increase by almost one and a half times. A non-hybrid option is also planned.

In the Russian dealer plan for 2024, the Haval Xiaolong Max crossover was also called F8; Also, a pre-reform crossover was found on the territory of the Great Wall Motor plant in Tula. However, first, another hybrid Haval H7 will be brought to our market: it has already been certified and has appeared at dealers.
