On Monday, May 21, the Governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev met with representatives of the HAVAL brand and discussed development plans in the region. The Chinese side confirmed that it intends to deepen the localization: a plant for the production of auto components and gearboxes will appear in the Uzlovaya industrial park near Tula, and in the future, exterior and interior elements.
In his Telegram channel, Mityaev noted that “Hawwil cars have a great future in the Russian and world markets,” and confirmed the readiness to “provide a comprehensive support to the company.” However, the terms of implementation of the project for the construction of the plant at the Russian facilities Great Wall are still not announced.
It is also unknown which boxes will be released under Tula. It is expected that it will be seven -speed pre -sequential “robots”. These are equipped with all Haval Russian assembly with a transverse location of the engine.
In Russia, the Haval Blogger dismantled the Russian Haval H3 SUV in Russia and showed the HAVAL assembly quality will receive Russian -made electronic blocks
Since last year, Haval has been collecting 1.5 and 2.0 liters at its own plant in the Tula region. When the Chinese put the release of the boxes, the company will perform SPIC in 2020. The conditions are strict: she needs to score seven thousand points for localization, while, for example, welding and coloring give only 900 points.
In early May, it became known that Haval leased a warehouse near Moscow, an area of 42 thousand square meters. Perhaps it will be used as a hub to supply spare parts to the capital and St. Petersburg.
