Historical and modern pains will meet on REC 2025

Historical cars will go to the start of the first stage of the Russian series of endurance races. Replicas of cars at the beginning of the 20th century were honored to open the race-from Russo-Balt to Blitzenbenz. These cars were built by Igor Ermilin’s design bureau specifically for filming the film “Battle of Motors”.

On May 24, on Saturday, the first stage of the Russian series for endurance (REC) 2025-the Mail Auto Grand Prix of Auto Grand Prix will take place at the Moscow Region Moscow Ropewa. Thirty-five crews will go to the start: sports prototypes and GT classes from GT classes, from the cult mini cooper to Mercedes-AMG GT3 and Lamborghini, will be presented in the race. The marathon will last four hours and will traditionally end with the light of headlights in the dark.

Battle of engines

For the first time in the program of Russian car racing, a spectacular start of a modern peloton behind historical pains will appear, symbolizing the connection of the times and sports spirit of generations. The race will open the remarks of cars at the beginning of the 20th century: Rousseau-Balt C24/55-a participant in the race in Monaco in 1912, the racing Blitzenbenz and another Russo-Balt, also known as the “Russian cucumber”. Cars were created according to historical drawings for the filming of a large -scale film “Battle of Motors” manufactured by the Central Partnership film company and Kinoslovo with the support of the Film Fund.

Cars were built by Igor Ermilin’s design bureaus, one of the best Russian car designers, who, among other things, created the famous racing “Marusia”, also participating in the Russian series of endurance.
