The second stage REC: Lamborghini is starting!

On Saturday, June 28, the second stage of the Russian series of endurance races (REC)-the Grand Prix athletes will take place on the Moscow Region Moscow Race. In the “highest” grade of the series – GT Pro, two Lamborghini Huracan, which will replace the Ferrari 488 team of the Spora GT team, are announced at once.

While the crews of GT classes “increase” muscles during the season, the class of sports prototypes CN Pro is also seriously preparing for the upcoming starts. After the defeat in the absolute standings of the first stage of the BlackThorm (Norm M20FC), SVL Racing and Balchug Racing team (both on Ligier JS53) modernized their car to give up powerful sportsmen.

The most “massive” class by the end of the season can be GT Light, where the teams perform on BMW, Mini, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Seat cars. GT and GT PRO classes have become more diverse and the number of participants is growing. Cars: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes AMG, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Toyota. So far, Marussia GT and debuting last season Rossa GT, has not been released to the start of the season (for technical reasons, without the expected gearbox). But the organizers do not lose hope of seeing them at the start of future stages.

The traditional evening start of the summer part of the REC season will take the race in the dark. The strong composition of the participants in the second stage, the change of time of day with possible warm rain can completely change the picture in the REC to the third stage of the series on Igor Drive on July 26.

The Grand Prix athletes ”is a real holiday for the whole family. Adults and children will find entertainment to taste. In the program: a four-hour race for endurance, access to the technical park of participants, drift, racing taxis, excursions to the boxes of teams, children’s car crashes, helicopter flights, free children’s zone. Starting at 18:00, entrance for spectators-at 15:00.
