Hongqi HS6 drove 1131 km without refueling at -20°C and set a Guinness record

Tests on the production vehicle took place on February 9 in Heihe, China, at temperatures from -20°C to -30°C. Sina reports this with reference to a statement from the FAW concern, which includes the Hongqi brand.

According to the publication, the HS6 serial hybrid was used in the test. The car was equipped with a 40 kWh battery, a standard 60-liter tank and winter tires. During the run, the temperature in the cabin was maintained at +25°C.

In addition to the version with a 40 kWh battery, a modification with a 23.9 kWh battery is offered. The declared range of the model is 1460 km, maximum speed is 205 km/h. The cost of the Hongqi HS6 PHEV in the Chinese market starts from 178.8 thousand yuan (about 2 million rubles) and reaches 228.8 thousand yuan (about 2.6 million rubles).
