In India, all the details about the modification with the Electric prefix were revealed. This crossover is distinguished by a body kit, wheel design and the absence of a filling neck: the charging hatch is located under the front logo. The electric Hyundai Creta is richly equipped by default, but the prices are to match: from 1.8 million rupees (2.12 million rubles). The basic petrol version is almost 40% cheaper.
Updated Hyundai Creta: now with left-hand drive and a powerful turbo engine
Hyundai Creta Electric is a centimeter longer and three centimeters higher than the fuel version, and there is also a 22-liter niche under the hood for a charging cable. Inside, the electric car is distinguished by a Kona steering wheel, a “floating” center console, a different interface for controlling driving modes (instead of the selector in the center – a steering column lever), as well as instrument panel graphics.

In the two initial trim levels, the crossover has a 135-horsepower electric motor and a battery with a capacity of 42 kilowatt-hours, so the range is 390 kilometers according to the Indian ARAI cycle. The Hyundai Creta Long Range is optionally available with a 171-horsepower engine and a battery with a capacity of 51.4 kilowatt-hours: this option will travel 473 kilometers without recharging. Options include ventilated front seats, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, an electric passenger seat on the side, lane control and blind spot monitoring systems.
New Russian-assembled Kia now have manual transmission and become cheaper
The top version of the Hyundai Creta Electric will cost 2.35 million rupees (2.77 million rubles), that is, such a crossover is more than twice as expensive as the initial fuel version. However, richly equipped diesel crossovers will cost 2.04 million rupees (2.41 million rubles), so with a comparable number of options, the difference is not so dramatic.
