In January 2024, Japan increased the export of automobile spare parts to Russia by 11 percent

At the same time, the supply of cars to our country continues to decline. According to the Ministry of Finance of the Rising Sun, the total turnover between the two states decreased by 8.77 percent relative to January last year. At the same time, Russia reduced the import of goods by 11.7 percent.

More than half of all exported goods from Japan falls on cars, as well as spare parts and components for them. In January, the Asian country put 7,710 cars to Russia, which is almost 19 percent less than last year’s indicators, and the import of parts for vehicles increased by 11 percent. In addition, Japan actively supplies plastic and paper to our country. Russia, on the other hand, exports non -ferrous metals.

In October last year, Japan sharply increased car exports to Russia. The supply of spare parts and components has also increased significantly.
