The winner of the auction was an individual entrepreneur from Kalmykia Vladimir Arustamov: he offered 2.25 billion rubles for the plant. The automobile enterprise was produced by Great Wall Hover SUVs called DW Hower in 2017-2018.

The problems of Stavropol Auto began after the co-owner of the Hajji Murat plant became a defendant in the criminal case in the fall of 2018. The businessman hid in London, and assets were put up for auction. It was not possible to implement the enterprise for a long time: for example, in 2021 they tried to sell the site at the auction for a decrease for 4.3 billion rubles, but there were no applications.

According to the Russian car telegram channel, the new owner of the de Fact factory became Rostec. Individual entrepreneur Vladimir Arustamov is connected with the state holding through Technodynamics JSC. What products will be produced on the site is not officially reported. In January, the Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov spoke about plans to create Kamaz-Master at the factory.

After the shift of the owner, the head of the region said that he was “counting on a constructive partnership and the development of a former plant” and emphasized that the residential complex in the territory of the automobile enterprise would not appear. The production capacity of the plant is up to 100 thousand cars annually.
