The company in Vsevolozhsk (Leningrad Region) was restarted by Slotex, which rents the site, Vedomosti reports. Now there is a decorative paper-layer plastic, which is used in the production of furniture. In a year, the plant will be able to manufacture up to two million square meters of such products.

The plant was restarted as part of an agreement with the Leningrad Region, which was concluded at the PMEF in 2022. It will produce paper-layered plastic, consisting of several layers of technical and decorative papers with impregnation with thermoreactive resins. It is used in the decoration of furniture – countertops and facades, as well as medical operating rooms and laboratories.

The Ford site in Vsevolozhsk was built in 2002, there Mondeo and Focus were produced in the full cycle. She stopped working even before the outcome of Western brands – in 2019.
