In the mid-1990s, the truck was created as an update to the model range of the Gorky Automobile Plant. However, the engineers managed to collect only an experimental batch of several dozen light commercial machines, which in the lineup of the manufacturer had to adjust to the Gazelle. In 2000, experts turned the project, deciding to bet on a new all -wheel drive family. Now, a rare “Ataman” with a mileage of 43 thousand kilometers is comparable to the cost of the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max in the Dreamline all -wheel drive configuration, which is available from 3,320,000 rubles.

The Ataman, equipped with a constant all -wheel drive system with an interdose blocking and a handout, is built on a frame with insoluble bridges. The front part of the pickupa is made in the style of “Volga”. At the same time, the cabin and a salon with the third landing place resemble the design of the GAZ-3307 truck.

The Ataman family was supposed to consist of pickups and SUVs. It was assumed that a wide motor gamut would be available to cars, up to a 5.5-liter V8 from ZMZ. In fact, the trucks received a 2.3-liter gasoline engine of the Zabolzhsky plant with a capacity of 98 horsepower and an 110-horsepower diesel. The seller did not reveal the history of the car in the announcement, only indicating that the Ataman is in a completely good condition.

For sale, the rarest pickups of the GAZ Ataman were put up for sale. The release of all-wheel drive trucks was supposed to be established on gas in the 90s, but in the end this direction was recognized as unpromising. Only a small experimental batch of cars was released-so GAZ-2308 is one of the rarest cars of the Nizhny Novgorod plant. The author of the announcement owns immediately three machines of this model, which he put up with one lot.
