It became known how many cars were assembled in Russia for six months

From January to June, plants produced 326 thousand cars, calculated in Rosstat. The fall of the year is small by the year – only 2.1 percent. At the same time, only June was noted by a reduction in production by 28.2 percent compared to June 2024 and by 28.4 percent-with May 2025. During the first month of summer, only 45 thousand cars came from conveyors.

In January-June 2025, 68.8 thousand trucks were released, which is 23.9 percent less than in the same period of 2024. The result of June – 10.3 thousand cars, the fall in the annual comparison amounted to 40.3 percent. But by May 2025 there was an increase – plus 15.6 percent.

In the deep minus (37.4 percent), according to the results of the first half of the year, there were also the production of buses to permissible maximum weight of more than five tons. From the beginning of the year, 4.7 thousand pieces have been released. In June – 858, which is 25.7 percent less than in June last year. By May 2025, the volume, as in the case of trucks, grew by 19.5 percent.

For six months, ICE released 106 thousand pieces (-3.5 percent), for June-16.9 thousand (-15 percent by June 2024 and +5.6 percent by May 2025). The body production sank 43.2 percent to 12.1 thousand units in six months. June indicator-1.7 thousand (-54.7 percent and +13.7 percent).

Against the background of the fall, the car market has noticeably decreased and the import of foreign cars. Since the beginning of the year, less than 150 thousand units have been imported, although last year almost 409 thousand cars were received over the same period abroad. Most of the cars are still transported to the Russian Federation from China.
