It became known how many Solaris cars were assembled in Russia

At the AGR Automobile Plant (formerly Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus) in St. Petersburg, the 20,000th Solaris car rolled off the assembly line, the press service of the enterprise reports. The anniversary was the Solaris HC Prestige Smart with a blue body – a renamed Hyundai Creta in a top-end configuration, which, according to the price list, is estimated at 3,414,000 rubles.

The AGR plant managed to produce 20,000 cars in 10 months. Cars are assembled using full cycle technology with stamping, welding, painting and assembly. Now the ex-Hyundai plant produces four models: Solaris HS, Solaris HC, Solaris KRS and Solaris KRX, also known as Hyundai Solaris and Creta, as well as Kia Rio and Rio X, respectively. The cars have nameplates with the letter S instead of Korean logos.

The anniversary HC in Galaxy Blue color is equipped with a two-liter engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower, a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Equipment includes a panoramic roof, Bose audio system, adaptive cruise control and a winter package.

In Russia, prices for Solaris cars will soon increase. Hyundai has declassified the new generation Palisade. How many Solaris cars have Russians bought?

AGR notes that the company managed to form a wide network of Russian suppliers who uninterruptedly supply the conveyor with automotive components.

It was reported that the assembly uses components left at the plant after the departure of Hyundai and Kia, but AGR did not confirm this information. The parts stored at one of the largest automobile plants in Russia should be enough for about 70 thousand cars, subject to the purchase of some components, insiders said.
