According to Avtostat agency, in the first quarter of 2025, 118 copies of Lada Aura – a “stretched” version of Vesta, which entered the market with a price tag of 2,599,000 rubles, were sold in Russia. This is a noticeable decline compared to the fourth quarter of 2024, when Aura dispersed in the amount of 203 pieces. And this despite the fact that sales started only at the end of November.

Most of the 118 Lada Aura, sold in January-March 2025, purchased legal entities. They accounted for 73 percent of cars, or 86 copies. And only 27 percent (30 pieces) acquired individuals.

About a third (35 units) Lada Aura remained in the Samara region. Since the beginning of the year, 12 business departments have been sent to Moscow, and other regions have not purchased 10 pieces.

The cost of Lada Aura starts with 2,599,000 rubles, but dealers began to offer solid discounts. The car is sold in two trim levels with a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower, which is paired with a variator.

Previously, rumors about the reduction in the circulation of Lada Aura. Last fall, AvtoVAZ planned to release eight thousand copies of the flagship and was ready to increase the assembly pace, if there was demand. The press service of AvtoVAZ noted that production is in accordance with the plan, and insiders in social networks “do not understand the basic processes taking place today in the Russian car market.”
