The new BMW X7 will have a giant grille and an electric version

As ITHome reports, citing a statement by CEO Oliver Zipse, the new product under the internal symbol G67 will appear on the market next year.

The main innovation will be the appearance of an all-electric version, which will debut on the BMW X7 for the first time. At the same time, gasoline engines will remain – in-line six-cylinder engines and V8 units. A diesel version will also be available in Europe and some other markets. But a hybrid modification, judging by the available information, is not expected.

It is expected that the design of the car will be evolutionary: it will retain the recognizable silhouette, but will receive individual elements of the new Neue Klasse style. At the same time, the characteristic features of the current generation, including the controversial large radiator grille and separate optics, will not go away.

The interior of the new X7 will be even more luxurious. The model will inherit fully automatic doors from the BMW 7 Series, and the list of equipment will include rear massage and ventilated seats, as well as a separate multimedia system for second-row passengers.

Earlier, the most popular crossovers that Russians are driving from China became known.
