The Chinese brand is preparing to bring the new crossover to the Russian market, which will be the first PHEV model in the line. A car known in China as Galaxy Starship 7 EM-I will be sold under the EM-I index. This name is chosen to show kinship with the already famous Russians electric car [Geely EX5](https://motor.ru/news/gely-ex5-prices-20-02-2025.htm), built on the same architecture.

The second part of the name, the abbreviation EM-I, several values. The first decryption option is Explore More Imagination, or “going beyond the borders of the imagination”, indicates the absence of restrictions on the wheel of a crossover, the second – the Efficency Meets Intelligence, or “effectiveness thanks to the intelligence”, refers to technology.

EM-I is also the name of the Electric Motor Intelligence. It includes one and a half -liter atmospheric “four”, deformed from 112 to 99 forces, previously reported “Chinese cars” with reference to their sources.

Paired with the internal combustion engine, the electric motor with a capacity of 218 forces works, like the EX5. The capacity of the traction battery is 18.4 kilowatt-hour, and the total supply of electric trough and full tank will be 940 kilometers along the WLTP cycle. The drive is only the front.
