According to Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, the first Volga is planned to be put on the conveyor by the spring of 2026.

By the spring of 2026, the Gorky Automobile Plant was expecting to “start the first stages of assembly and production,” Manturov said, answering the question of journalists about the possible return of the Volga.

At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister did not comment on the possibility of attracting Chinese companies to the project.
