In June, the cost of cars from China continued to decline, while “parallel” foreign cars and Russian cars went up in price. This was reported by car experts “Auto.ru” who studied the June announcements of sales. However, both the fall and the increase in prices in all cases are insignificant compared to MAI – no more than two percent.

In June, the cost of the average new car of Chinese brands amounted to 3.58 million rubles. This is 1.3 percent less than in May, but two percent more than June 2024. The products of the Russian auto industry continue to rise in price: prices rose 0.8 percent to 1.57 million rubles per month, and per year – by 4.8 percent.

Foreign cars imported by the “parallel” way became more expensive by 1.6 percent and on average were estimated at 9.4 million. This is almost a million more (11 percent) than at the beginning of the year.

The most noticeable reduction in the price in June was the Xcite X-Cross 7 crossover: it was offered an average of 2.52 million rubles (-3.4 percent). Next are the Lixiang L9 (-2.6 percent and 8.32 million), Solaris KRX (-1.8 percent and 2.33 million), Chere Tiggo 8 Pro Max (-1.8 percent and 3.92 million) and Haval M6 (-1.7 percent and 2.24 million rubles).

In price, the Tank 700 SUV is the leader, which added 2.4 percent to 11 million rubles. The second place went to the Haval F7 (+1.9 percent up to 3.3 million), the third – the Chere Tiggo 7 Pro Max (+1.5 percent to 3.01 million rubles).

The most tangible increase in prices was noticed in the Lipetsk region (+13 percent to two million rubles on average), and the decrease in Novgorod (-11.5 percent to 2.56 million).

At the same time, the Russians began to spend less on new cars. In May, residents of the Russian Federation bought cars for 285.2 billion rubles – 2.2 percent less than in the same month of 2024.
