JAC has announced a new modification of the T9 pickup truck.

The new product will be called Urban. The main technical difference should be a multi-link rear suspension instead of the current leaf spring design. Such transformations should make the car more comfortable.

The manufacturer emphasizes that when developing the pickup truck, the safety of passengers and the safety of cargo became an absolute priority. The car body is designed in such a way as to provide maximum protection in all possible situations, including unexpected ones.

The Russian version offers two-liter turbo engines – gasoline (224 hp and 390 Nm) and diesel (163 hp and 410 Nm). In both cases, the engines are assisted by a classic 8-speed automatic transmission and a part-time all-wheel drive system.

The UAZ “Profi” truck was equipped with a Russian-Chinese diesel engine. The Chinese authorities have closed the “used cars without mileage” scheme. The creator of the new Gelendvagen is leaving the Mercedes-Benz company.

By the way, the new SUV will be released simultaneously under the JAC and Sollers brands – this is a full-size SUV, which should receive the JS9 index.
