Jac revealed the appearance of the SUV, which will be prescribed on UAZ

The Chinese brand showed the prototype of the frame of an all -terrain vehicle that is converted from the T9 pickupa. The novelty was called JAC JS9. Until the middle of the body is the same as the original truck, but the rear doors became more, and the feed is designed again. However, the lanterns are unified, and the trunk is made according to the simplest scheme with a lifting door. By the end of the year, the novelty is localized at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.

It is curious that on weekends the same prototype showed the Russian brand Sollers and confirmed the start of the assembly on UAZ until the end of the year. How JAC and Sollers will be released (and sold) the same model in Russia is still unknown, although the SUVs will still have some differences-different salons and calibration of a gasoline engine are promised.

SUVs should differ from the JAC T9 pickupa with a spring rear suspension (instead of springs) and an enlarged clearance, but by motor gamut without surprises. Expected gasoline and diesel 2.0-liter turbo engines with an eight-band automatic machine connected by all-wheel drive type Part-Time and lowering gear. The main competitor of Sollers/JAC will be the Haval H5 SUV.
