JAC told when the production of pickups T9 begins in Russia

This model remains in the leaders in its segment in the Russian market: the share of T9 in the total sales in early 2024 amounted to 18.3 percent. In order to strengthen the position, the JAC will expand the gamut of the diesel version, and in this summer it will launch local assembly. Which of the Russian plants will “prescribe” the Chinese pickup, is not specified.

The press service of the JAC shared sales statistics: at the beginning of this year, the brand kept first place in terms of sales in the segment of pickups with a share of more than 24 percent. According to the results of January, the top 10 most popular pickups included three JAC models at once: in addition to the T9 flagship, this is T8 Pro and T8.

As for T9, this is the most expensive and richly equipped pickup in the brand line. It is frame, the length is a little more than 5.3 meters. So far, the modification of the model is only one, with a two -liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 224 horsepower, which is paired with an eight -band automatic. The drive is full, with the connected front axle. However, soon the gamma will expand due to the diesel version and version with a mechanical gearbox – their launches are scheduled for the second and third quarters of 2025, respectively.

In early February, JAC certified additional equipment for T9. This is a rubber, electric shoes, a winch and a site for attaching the winch, a cargo rolling platform, rotary coffors installed in the body, and even a light and strong car blade of whole -lit structure.
