The portal Wroom.ru found out that in December the production of new heavy tractors with three drive axles started. KamAZ-65955 became serial: a tractor with a 6×6 wheel arrangement and a new K5 cab. The new product is capable of towing a semi-trailer with a total weight of up to 88 tons, the total weight of the road train reaches 100 tons! In 2025, the auto giant plans to produce 360 of these trucks.

The first prototypes of KamAZ-65955 appeared back in 2019, but production was delayed due to sanctions. Now an “anti-sanction” version has entered the series: selected dealers are already accepting orders, prices start at 10.9 million rubles. Under the hood of the six-wheel tractor is an in-line six-cylinder turbodiesel KamAZ-910 (560 horsepower, 2600 Nm), which is combined with a 16-speed manual transmission.

Currently, diesel versions with a cabin with a sleeping bag are being assembled in Naberezhnye Chelny. However, KamAZ-65954 off-road gas tractors are on the way (pictured). This option differs from the original version by a compressed natural gas (methane) engine: the power is reduced to 460 horsepower, and the total weight of the road train will be reduced by 20% and will be 80 tons.

Also in 2024, KamAZ began serial assembly of KamAZ-54901 gas main tractors, KamAZ-6595 (6×4) and -65951 (8×4) dump trucks, as well as the -65658 (6×2) chassis. Six-wheel dump trucks of the new family with a body of 20 cubic meters are already in stock: prices start at 9.6 million rubles.
