Kia EV2 becomes more affordable thanks to a four-seat version

The new Kia EV2 electric car, aimed at the European market, has received the status of an affordable entry-level SUV: its price does not exceed $31,000 (about 2.5 million rubles). The model is presented in four trim levels, with a choice of two batteries and two interior layout options. Carscoops reports this.

Kia has started accepting orders for the EV2 electric crossover in Europe. The price starts from 26,600 euros (approximately 2.5 million rubles). Europeans can lease an EV2 from 239 euros per month (approximately 22 thousand rubles). The basic Light version is equipped with a 42.2 kWh battery and a 146 hp motor. The power reserve is 317 km, which is enough for the city. The four-seat interior layout contributes to savings.

The next Air trim level is five-seater. It has the same battery and motor as the Light, but the price is higher – from 28,990 euros (approximately 2.7 million rubles). With a larger 61 kWh battery and 135 hp engine. The range increases to 453 km, and the price starts from 33,490 euros (about 3.1 million rubles).

EV2 will also be offered in Earth and GT-Line trim levels. Earth is available with 4 or 5 seats with a 42.2 kWh battery and 146 hp motor. The price varies from 31,290 to 31,590 euros (from 2.93 million rubles to 2.95 million rubles), the range is 308 km. The top version of the GT-Line is equipped with a 61 kWh battery and a 135 hp electric motor. The five-seater version was priced at 36,890 euros (about 3.5 million rubles), the four-seater at 37,190 euros (about 3.4 million rubles). The power reserve in both trim levels is the same – 413 km.
