In mass production, the car may receive the EV7 index. This was reported by the British publication Autocar. Kia Europe chief designer Oliver Samson said in an interview that the concept car embodies a vision of how a sedan car can be designed in a new way.
Details of the future project have not yet been disclosed, but the concept could potentially be put into production as a sedan under the symbol EV7 or EV8, the publication reports.
Kia Europe chief designer Oliver said the Meta Turismo serves as “an attempt or a vision” that represents “how we could design a sedan differently, not just in terms of the exterior, but also in terms of interior design, taking into account the driver and front passenger.”
“If we find a new design that we think will suit Kia really well, is very progressive and different from what we already have, we will consider introducing it into the family,” Samson said.
The Kia Vision Meta Turismo concept car was unveiled in December 2025 as part of Kia’s 80th anniversary celebrations in Yongin, South Korea. The car has an almost single-volume body with a sloping roof, angular doors and a glass roof with geometric elements.
