The Netherlands branch of the brand confirmed Autoweek that CEED and XCEED production will end in May, and the Proceded station wagon is no longer produced. The configurator of the KIA CEED family is closed: deliveries will continue due to already ordered vehicles or stocks. According to the Korean brand, already released copies are enough to continue sales until the end of 2025.

KIA CEED sales are stable: in 2024, 65 thousand cars (-3%) sold in Europe. The model is well familiar to the Russians: until 2022, the current third generation gathered in Kaliningrad. However, the fate of the family was predetermined by the policy: the European Union tightens eco -standards, and the EV4 electric car will be written at the KIA factory in Slovakia instead of CEED.
