Land Rover Defender turned into an armored car for a city with an engine of 518 “horses”

The Canadian Atelier Inkas presented a special version of the SUV. Now it is not just a luxurious car, it is also armored. It is security that is the main task of this machine.

The design is reinforced in the most important places, including the main mechanical nodes. The fuel tank is hidden into a separate armored capsule. The car is equipped with bulletproof glasses and special tires, which allow you to continue moving even after a puncture.

This Defender complies with the strict armored standard CEN 1063 BR6, that is, the protection level protects passengers from shelling from the 7.62 caliber assault rifle and even from the simultaneous undermining of two DM51 manual grenades directly under the bottom of the vehicle. At the same time, all armored elements are integrated so skillfully that they give out the presence of protection only a few modest atelier badges.
