Lawyer Voropaev: the driver is obliged to clear the intersection at any traffic light

Traffic rules prohibit driving to an intersection if there is a traffic jam behind it, automobile lawyer Lev Voropaev recalled in an interview with Motor magazine. The interlocutor emphasized that if such a situation does occur, then the driver does not have the right to block the intersection of roads.

“Our rules clearly stipulate that if a driver enters an intersection at a traffic light, then no matter what traffic light is on at the exit, including a prohibiting one, he is obliged to leave this intersection,” said the automobile lawyer.

According to him, for driving to an intersection beyond which a traffic jam has formed, the driver will be fined precisely for violating this point of the rules, and not for the fact of being at the intersection when the signal changes.

Prior to this, lawyer Voropaev said that if the taxi driver did not inform the passenger before the trip that a video was being filmed in the cabin, then it would be considered illegal.

Earlier it became known that car factories around the world could stop car production.
