Lexus has introduced a wide range of accessories to the home market for the new generation ES sedan. Among the unusual options available to Japanese buyers are a footrest with deodorizing properties, as well as advanced lighting systems, Carscoops reports.
The Japanese version of the ES received exclusive aerodynamic body kits from Lexus and the Modellista tuning studio. The first set includes the front splitter, side skirts and rear bumper extension. Modellista’s package lowers the sedan by an inch and adds illuminated side skirts.
The lighting options deserve special attention. The Welcome Illumination projection system projects the Lexus logo onto the asphalt in front of the car, while side lights create geometric patterns along the body. Illuminated cup holders and door pockets are available throughout the cabin.
The most unusual option is a deodorizing footrest for the driver and front passenger. Its price in Japan is 46.2 thousand yen (21 thousand rubles).
