The Chinese Maextro S800 has outsold its German competitors. Thus, in January, car dealerships in the Middle Kingdom managed to deliver 2,625 cars to customers – this is more than the total result shown by the main market competitors, which primarily include the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.
The exact results are as follows: Maextro S800 – 2625 units, BMW 7 Series – 1188 units, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class – 1040 units. The Chinese brand’s super sedan was most actively purchased by residents of Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing.
Let’s remember that the S800 offers several versions. The sequential hybrid has a 1.5-liter gasoline generator, a battery with a capacity of 65 kilowatt-hours, and two- or three-motor all-wheel drive due to electric motors.
In turn, a “clean” electric car is ready to offer a modern battery with a capacity of 95 kilowatt-hours, ultra-fast charging and an autonomy of 650-670 kilometers (CLTC).
The Maextro S800 has a fully controlled chassis, adaptive air suspension, and an advanced autopilot, moreover, with the prospect of an upgrade to the fourth level.
