AvtoVAZ, for reasons beyond its control, will reduce the volume of car production this year, said First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov in an interview with RBC. “If they were of poor quality and are inaccessible to acquisition, half a million units last year would not be produced and sold. Yes, this year there will be a decrease for objective reasons that independently from AvtoVAZ, and definitely not from their quality associated with a decrease in demand, ”Manturov said.
