The new 2028 VLE is called a “grand limousine.” It’s essentially a premium electric minivan that will launch in the US in 2027 and is expected to appeal to both family buyers and corporate customers. Carscoops reports this.
The new Mercedes-Benz VLE features a modern and elegant design. The front of the model is characterized by a distinctive radiator grille with optional contour lighting, flanked by star-shaped LED sections. The hood has a convex shape and is decorated with a three-ray logo. The optional AMG package offers a sporty front apron and an alternative grille design with a large central star.
From the side, the VLE attracts attention with its streamlined body and recessed door handles. Power sliding doors and fully rollable windows complete the picture.
The VLE is equipped with a spacious glass cabin and wheels with a diameter of 19 to 22 inches. Other features include outstanding aerodynamics (Cx – 0.25), a vertical tail with arc-shaped lights integrated into the spoiler, an opening rear window and an original charging port with a cover that opens downwards.
The dimensions of the VLE are impressive: length – 5309 mm, width – 1999 mm, height – 1943 mm. Wheelbase – 3342 mm. Later, an extended version will appear: its length will reach 5484 mm, and the base will grow to 3517 mm. For comparison: the overall length of the standard version of the Cadillac Escalade is 5382 mm, the wheelbase is 3071 mm. Chrysler Pacifica has a length of 5189 mm and axle distance of 3089 mm.
