Motor began broadcasting the Beijing International Auto Show

Auto China 2026, Asia’s largest automotive forum, is taking place in Beijing. 1,451 cars are participating in the exhibition, of which 181 are world and Chinese premieres, 71 are concepts. During the first two press days, 212 press conferences, more than 30 industry forums, and hundreds of companies from almost 20 countries are planned. The main new products: electric Freelander from Chery and JLR, frame hybrid Jetour G700 (904 hp), amphibious SUV Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700, Haval H10 with two length options, as well as European premieres – BMW iX3 50L with an extended wheelbase, Mercedes-Benz C-Class Electric on 800-volt architecture and Audi E7X without classic rings. Nissan NX8

Nissan presented at the Beijing Auto Show a new strategic crossover NX8, built on the Tianyan 2.0 architecture with an 800-volt system. The car, 4870 mm long and with a wheelbase of 2917 mm, will be available in two versions: fully electric (power reserve up to 650 km) and with an EREV range extender (310 km on electric power plus a gasoline generator).

It is equipped with two 15.6-inch displays powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor and the Momenta autopilot system with NOA function in the city and on the highway.

The start of sales in China was announced at a price of 150 thousand yuan (about 1.76 million rubles). Nissan said the NX8 is the first fruit of its “In China, for China and for the World” strategy, with key components from local partners, including CATL batteries.

In addition, Nissan presented the new N6 and Teana sedans at the Beijing Auto Show. The Nissan N6 became the brand’s first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) for the Chinese market. The car is 4835 mm long on a wheelbase of 2815 mm and is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 100 hp. paired with a 201 hp electric motor. A traction lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 21.1 kWh provides an electric range of up to 130 km on the CLTC cycle, and low fuel consumption (about 4.4 l/100 km) makes the model economical for everyday trips.

The Nissan Teana is the flagship D-segment sedan, known in other markets as the Altima. The 4920 mm long car with a 2825 mm wheelbase has received a deep restyling: a widened radiator grille, V-shaped LED running lights and a through LED strip at the rear with an illuminated red Nissan logo.

The Teana is powered by two petrol engines – a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter with a power of 156 hp. or a turbocharged 2.0 liter VC-Turbo with 243 hp, both paired with a CVT variator. The main technological update is the integration of the Huawei HarmonySpace 5.0 multimedia system with a 15.6-inch central display and Huawei Sound audio system with 17 speakers, which makes Teana the world’s first non-electric car with Huawei software.

Haval Raptor Plus

Haval showed the Haval Raptor Plus hybrid SUV at the Beijing Motor Show. The model is available in three trim levels at prices ranging from 189,800 to 215,800 yuan (about 2.15–2.45 million rubles). The key difference between the Plus is its increased dimensions and the appearance of a seven-seat version. Car length is 4912 mm, wheelbase is 2850 mm, ground clearance is 221 mm.

The power plant is a 1.5-liter turbo engine (156 hp) paired with two electric motors. Total power – 449 hp. and 660 Nm, acceleration to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. The electric range reaches 255 km, the total range is more than 1000 km.

Raptor Plus is equipped with roof-mounted lidar and Coffee Pilot 3.0 autopilot system with NOA functions on the highway and in the city. The cabin features a 15.6-inch central screen, digital instrumentation and a head-up display. For off-road use, a rear differential lock and a “crawling” mode are provided. Fording depth – 580 mm.

Ora 5

Great Wall, under the Ora brand, presented a new electric car, Ora 5, in Beijing. The model replaced the Ora Good Cat. Dimensions: length 4235 mm, wheelbase 2650 mm. Available in two versions: standard (51 kWh battery, 420 km range) and Long Range (63 kWh, 520 km). Motor – 171 hp

The equipment includes a 10.25-inch instrument panel, a 12.3-inch central screen powered by a Snapdragon 8155 processor, and an autopilot system with automatic parking. Prices range from 119,800 to 149,800 yuan (about 1.4–1.76 million rubles). Sales in China will start in May 2026.
