Motorhome: for Russians, the average bill for car body repairs increased by 20%

Despite a decrease in wholesale prices for auto parts by 10-15%, the retail cost of service continues to rise sharply for Russians. Roman Timashov, Deputy General Director of the Avtodom group of companies, told Motor magazine about this.

“In body repair, the dynamics were more noticeable: the bill increased by 20%, reaching 160 thousand rubles. It follows from this that body parts have risen in price more than others,” noted Timashov.

According to him, the average bill for plumbing work in the mass segment increased by 10% – to 20 thousand rubles, and in the premium segment remained at the level of 34 thousand rubles. At the same time, the wholesale cost of spare parts decreased by 10-15% compared to last year. However, this did not greatly affect the retail cost of spare parts.
