NAMI patented new lights for the Aurus Komendant SUV

The rear optics retained the same shape, but acquired new content. Designers often use a similar technique to leave existing body panels: remaking the latter is extremely expensive. And given the small circulation of Aurus cars, such investments could not pay off.

It is logical to assume that the Russian luxury brand is preparing a “secret” restyling of its SUV. It also cannot be ruled out that other elements of the updated machine will soon be patented.

By automotive standards, the Aurus Komendant is not a young car. Initially, the premiere of the SUV was supposed to take place in the fall of 2019, but for various reasons the presentation was postponed several times.

Then the coronavirus pandemic made its contribution, and as a result, the long-awaited debut of the car for top officials (and for those who have several tens of millions of rubles) took place on September 29, 2022.

The word Aurus is a combination of the Latin aurum (gold) and Russia – Russia. The models are named after the Senate, Komendant and Arsenal towers of the Moscow Kremlin: Senat, Komendant and Arsenal.

By the way, the Russian Aurus, which produces luxury cars, will enter a new market: they will also sell clothes under this brand.
