Since January, a 2.5-liter engine corresponding to the Euro-5 standard began to put on small-tonnage minibuses, vans and trucks. Earlier for almost three years, gas cars were equipped with diesel engines of the ecological class “Euro-2”. The peak characteristics are the same: the turbodiesel develops 150 horsepower, is combined with 5- or 6-speed “mechanics”.
The updated diesel is called G51 (the “old” version is indicated by G21). In the G51A version for the Gazelle Next and Gazelle City minibuses, the torque is limited to 330 nm for the sake of the resource of a 5-speed gearbox. The G51C modification for the Gazelle NN and Sobol NN family develops 420 nm and works in a bunch with a more modern 6-speed “mechanics”.
The blogger dismantled the new Sobol NN GAS 4×4 and compared it with a foreign car gas released the last trucks with Soviet -type cabins that it turned out that Russian and Chinese in the new GAZ Valdai 12
Correspondence to the Euro-5 economy was achieved thanks to the electronically controlled turbocharger and throttle, the installation of the recirculation system of exhaust gases (EGR), and the introduction of a catalytic neutralizer and a soot filter. However, Euro-2 engines will continue to be produced for special orders. There are no prices in the public domain, but it looks like the updated Gazelle and Soboli engine did not rise in price.
At the beginning of the year, the new family of Sobol NN received the long -promised options. Now from the plant you can order a tire pressure control system, indication of “blind” zones, front and rear parkingories, as well as heating the steering wheel.
