A large Russian equipment seller selling cars through a parallel import system has started supplying Nissan Frontier Pro PHEV hybrid pickups. As Motor magazine found out, the car can be purchased for 5.5 million rubles. The vehicle has category “B”, rich equipment and the ability to tow a trailer weighing 3.3 tons.
The Frontier Pro is based on the Nissan Dongfeng Z9, which has had its appearance slightly tweaked and the logos replaced. Among the features, it is worth noting the “light signature”, which plays on the design of the Nissan D21 of the 1980s.
The Frontier Pro’s power plant consists of a 1.5 turbo-four and an electric motor integrated into the transmission, which together produce 435 hp. power and 800 Nm of torque.
The drive is all-wheel drive, with electronic locking rear differential. The driver has the opportunity to choose between four driving modes. The electric range is 135 km, and the ground clearance is 230 mm.
