Nissan has officially registered the Infiniti trademark in Russia

Registration followed in 2025, three years after the company suspended all operations on the Russian market.

According to the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), the application for registration of the premium brand Infiniti, part of the Nissan alliance, was received from Japan on June 3, 2025. Registration was successfully completed under International Classification of Goods and Services (ICGS) class 12, which includes motor vehicles and spare parts.

In 2022, Nissan Motor, like many other foreign automakers, announced the suspension of its activities in Russia and the supply of cars to the country.

Registration of a trademark may indicate the possible long-term strategic intentions of the concern in relation to the Russian market.

Previously, Russians were given five reasons why the engine does not start in cold weather.
