In the future, with its help, the owners of the electric car will be able to compensate for part of the cost of charging, giving excess energy to the main network at the peak of consumption. The base Leaf can be charged from direct current terminals with a capacity of up to 105 kilowatts, the senior – up to 150. The promised margin is: 490 kilometers according to the American EPA, or 600 WLTP.
Eight body colors are available for Nissan Leaf, including the blue Seabreeze Blue Pearl, which in expensive performance is combined with a contrasting black roof. The cabin is a pronounced horizontal architecture. The diagonal of screens, depending on the grade, is 12.3 or 14.3 inches. Multimedia supports all modern communication protocols and offers five topics of the design. Among them there are, for example, Engava – as in Japan they call an architectural technique that creates a smooth transition between the inner and external space.
Wireless charging, up to eight USB ports, a panoramic roof made of electricity glass with four transparency levels and an audio system Bose Personal Plus, part of the speakers of which are integrated into the front head restraints are also available. All seats of the new Leaf have a Zero Gravity design that reduces the load on the spine and other parts of the body, and can be upholstered with fabric, leatherette or Tailorfit material similar to real skin. The first market for the new Nissan Leaf will be the United States – there sales will begin this fall. In the spring of 2026, the electric car will reach Europe.
