Nissan Primera returns after 20 years as an electric car

According to information from the Philippines, the new Primera will be fully electric and will reach 4930 mm in length. Carscoops reports this.

According to government documents, the new product will be completely electric. Its dimensions have also been revealed: length 4930 mm and wheelbase 2915 mm – this exceeds the Camry. These characteristics practically prove that this is a rebranding of the Chinese Dongfeng Nissan N7, as mentioned earlier.

According to Top Gear Philippines, citing specifications certified by the US Department of Energy, the new product will receive one electric motor with a capacity of 215 hp. (160 kW / 218 PS) and torque of 305 Nm. These figures are the same as the base version of the N7, but the 60 kWh battery is slightly different and allows a range of 500 km.

The specific launch date of the Nissan N7 has not yet been disclosed, but it has been officially confirmed that the model will be exported. It is produced at the Dongfeng Nissan Huadu plant in Guangzhou, where the N6 and the NX8 crossover are also assembled.
