Nissan Sentra sedan after updating received more technology and comfort

In the United States, a presentation of the updated Nissan Sentra sedan took place. The car received a bright image, but its technical basis – the platform and the power plant – remained the same. Sales of the ninth generation will begin in the fourth quarter of this year. The exact cost has not yet been declared, but the manufacturer intends to maintain the reputation of one of the most budget proposals in its line for the model.

The appearance of the Sentra is made in a current corporate identity, which is already familiar to customers in the Chinese market. The V-shaped topic is still guessed in front, but now it is not created by the outline of the radiator grille, but by contrasting diagonal elements on the bumper. The shape of daytime running lights repeats this drawing. LED optics, both anterior and back, acquired a unique graphics, which will become the hallmark of the model. The manufacturer also immediately demonstrated the version with a more sports accent in the design.

Design adjustment has led to a slight increase in body length – now it is 4,656 millimeters, which is 10 millimeters more than that of the predecessor. The rest of the dimensions have not changed.

In the US market, Nissan Sentra will continue to be equipped with a two-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 151 horsepower and a torque of 210 Newton meters. It offers a variator with updated settings and a new sports program. Among the technical improvements is an increase in the stiffness of the body by 6%, the installation of more comfortable shock absorbers, enhanced sound insulation and additional damper in the steering, designed to better filter road vibrations.

Equipment in the updated version includes an audio system of BOSE, a panoramic roof, 360 degrees viewing cameras, a customer lighting and seats with a heating function.
