The new Nissan NX8 is built on Tianyan 2.0 architecture with an 800-volt system. The length of the car is 4870 mm, the wheelbase is 2917 mm. The model will be available in two versions: fully electric with a range of up to 650 km and with a range extender (EREV), capable of covering up to 310 km on electric power and equipped with a gasoline generator.
The equipment includes two 15.6-inch screens based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor, as well as the Momenta autopilot system, which supports the NOA function both in the city and on the highway.
The start of sales in China was announced at a price of 150 thousand yuan (approximately 1.8 million rubles). According to Nissan, the NX8 is the first fruit of its “In China, for China and for the World” strategy, with key components, including CATL batteries, supplied by local partners.
According to Rucars, the younger version of the electric car received an electric motor with a power of 292 hp. (310 Nm) and a 400-volt lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 73 kWh with 3C charging. This crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, and its CLTC range reaches 580 km. It takes only 12 minutes to replenish energy from 30 to 80%.
The two top variants use an 800-volt, 81 kWh battery with 5C charging support. Peak output reaches 340 hp, the range is 630-650 km, and acceleration to “hundreds” is accelerated to 6.7 seconds. Replenishing energy from 30 to 80% takes 10 minutes.
