No Limits named three auto companies that may leave the Russian market

As part of the strategy for the formal departure of the Chery concern from Russia, the model ranges of the Soueast and Jetour brands in our country can be united under the Votour brand, reports the No Limits Telegram channel. This move is planned to fulfill the objective of increasing the profits of the latter two brands.

“So we will lose three familiar names at once – Soueast, Jetour, Chery. In principle, this is now a general trend – the market is moving from the stage of “we’ll throw all the models we have in China” to the stage of strategic presence with an updated and competitive product portfolio,” the publication notes.

According to him, the separate legal entity responsible in Russia for the Jetour and Soueast brands is tasked by Chery management to increase profits, while the Soueast brand generates losses, and a separate legal entity has already been created under the combined Votour brand.

The Chery brand plans to leave the Russian market by 2027, the Japanese agency Nikkei reported in the fall of 2025, citing Chery Automobile documents announcing an initial public offering (IPO) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The owner of the official Chery website in Russia is already listed as Tenet Rus LLC.

Previously, Brabus for the first time in history took up tuning Lamborghini.
