He perfectly mastered the craft of a tin: he implanted a roof and glazing from a two-door “three-door” BMW E92 (the roof had to be expanded by 7.5 centimeters), transferred the middle rack, installed non-grade doors from the BMW of the 4th series (crossing them with external Panels from Rover), and in the cabin mounted folding seats and upholstery of the doors from the BMW (the electronics in which it was possible to make friends with the Rover “brains”. The retirement mesh was spent on these works for about 2500 hours.

And the tuning company Schulz Tuning in 1991 turned it into a compact hatchback. The serial machine was shortened, reducing the wheel base and cutting the body along the back stance. Instead of the rear doors, deaf sides of plastic were made, and a new back with a lifting door was made from parts from the E-class universal (S124). It turned out something like a “penny” of the BMW: a golf-class rear-wheel drive hatchback with the ability to get a powerful six-cylinder engine (a black Schulz Tuning advertising Booklet machine was equipped with a 2.6-hp engine with a power of 160 hp), a workshop near Ducusseldorf collected only three such cars. When we met a couple of lousy photographs on the Internet, we were sure that these were tricks of Photoshop lovers. But smoking a little deeper, we found out that these are the guys from the small Indonesian master Glauben Pro Custom a few years ago with a grinder, welding and putty. Moreover, two hatchbacks were made at once – three -door and five -door (after all, the BMW sedans of the E30 series were produced in both four -door and two -door design). But from what the door of the luggage compartment was made from, we could not find out.

The glass has to be made to order, but it turns out more pretty.

The owner of this machine carried out very difficult work: he shortened the Audi 80 two-door base, introduced the plumage from Sport Quattro with the original front and wide arches, but … for some reason, he decided to leave the roof, rear racks and the back of the “eighty”. Short -binding Audi Sport Quattro and in itself does not differ in external harmony, but here it turned out, well, it’s completely strange. But then no one has more such cars!
