Prices for minicopies of Soviet cars have increased in Russia

There has been a rush of demand in the country for large-scale copies of cars from the USSR, one of the model collectors told Motor magazine. Due to the demand for minicopies, some owners sell equipment in 1:43 scale at very high prices.

For sale on a popular bulletin board you can find a black GAZ-24 Volga sedan for 150 thousand rubles, and a Moskvich pickup truck in the Aeroflot livery of the second half of the 70s is offered for 43 thousand rubles.

Collectors also like models of rare bottle color: there are fans of collecting models only of this shade. For example, a dark green VAZ-2101 Zhiguli from 1979 costs 14 thousand rubles.

A large-scale copy of the Niva – a 1:43 scale model of the VAZ-2121 SUV from the times of the USSR in yellow with a Skif trailer produced in 1988 – is being sold on a popular site for 120 thousand rubles.
