Rare GAZ-13 Seagull is sold in Almaty for 12 million rubles

The luxurious 1959 sedan is considered one of the first copies collected by the Gorky Automobile Plant for the needs of the highest officials of the Soviet Union. The car passed the restoration and, according to the owner, completely retained its authenticity.

A rare offer has appeared on the online site-in Kazakhstan the GAZ-13 Seagull with a mileage of 35 thousand kilometers was put up for sale. According to the seller, the car was produced among a hundred pre -production machines intended for the management of the USSR. This representative sedan replaced the GAZ-12 model and became the flagship of the Soviet automobile industry, used by ministers, party elite and foreign embassies.

The car is equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 engine ZMZ-505 with a capacity of 195 horsepower, as well as a three-stage automatic transmission. Outwardly, the “time capsule” looks like new: the body sparkles chrome, and the interior is finished with velorov and other high -quality materials. For a unique car, the owner asks for 12 million rubles.

At the end of January, a rare copy was sold in Russia-in Rostov-on-Don, for 75 million rubles, the GAZ-13 GAZ-13 Restomod was offered. The unique machine was equipped with a modern technical filling and a Lexus interior, while the appearance retained the classic forms of the original “seagull”.
