Armored vehicles “Rekrut” are created on the basis of the “legendary all-terrain vehicle”, featuring improved tactical and technical characteristics. This information is provided by the manufacturer of the new product, Nizhny Novgorod Aviation Society. Motor magazine drew attention to the fact of the start of production and sales.
The new product is equipped with a 170-horsepower YaMZ-534 engine with a volume of 4.4 liters, with which fuel consumption is 23 l/100 km. With two 95-liter tanks, the range exceeds 800 km.
Protection class – BR4: the armor can withstand shots from a PM pistol (9 mm), AK 47 (5.45 mm) and AKM (7.62 mm) assault rifles, and even an SVD rifle (7.62 mm). Explosion resistance – 600 g of TNT.
The range of versions includes a landing van, a pickup truck, and an ambulance. The pickup truck can be equipped with drones, anti-aircraft guns, radar and other equipment.
As Motor magazine found out, the cost of the cars is about 15 million rubles. In addition to the body type, the customer will be able to choose one of eight color options, including several “camouflage” versions.
