At the exhibition in Brussels, a show car close to the series debuted, which in 2026 will become a serial urban electric car. The fourth generation Renault Twingo was distinguished by the clever texture of fabric seats and door panels, retained the usual climate control units and physical main buttons, impressed with the steering column “poker” for selecting driving modes, not forgetting the touch screen.
Forgotten concepts: Renault Eolab
The “cartoon” Renault Twingo show car was declassified last fall, but then it was not possible to look into the interior. The exterior has not changed in a couple of months, but in the compact interior they found room for improvisation. For example, tablets or smartphones can be secured with magnets behind the headrests of the front seats, and the seats of the second row not only fold 1:1, but also slide longitudinally.

Top versions are expected to have a panoramic roof, a media system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a digital dashboard with a 7-inch screen. There are many niches for small items, as well as USB connectors. The technical benchmark is electricity consumption at 10 kilowatt-hours per 100 kilometers. In this case, buyers can count on 300-400 kilometers of range without recharging.
Renault will no longer produce traditional crossovers
Although mass production is more than a year away, the public has already been shown a 95% finished image, meaning changes in the design will be minimal. The base Renault Twingo is planned to be sold for 20 thousand euros, which means the new product will be a quarter cheaper than the larger Renault 5 hatchback.
