RG: assembly of prototypes of the updated Senat sedan has begun at the Aurus plant in Yelabuga

Now engineers and technologists are working out the processes of updated production operations. This will be followed by testing, multi-stage technical control and the addition of new shades to the catalogue. The Aurus company told Rossiyskaya Gazeta about this.

“It is also planned to modernize certain production processes. Activities to improve technical processes will also take place at the site of the industrial partner, the Sollers plant, where welding and painting, grinding and high-precision polishing of Aurus car body parts to a mirror shine are carried out in special workshops,” a company representative noted in an interview.

He also added that luxury cars are initially an exclusive product. Limited edition combined with high quality workmanship is a deliberate strategy that meets international standards.

According to a representative of the Aurus company, in world history, only a few luxury car brands have been able to succeed – and each of them has traveled a path of decades. The first Russian luxury car, Aurus, has already covered the distance from development to mass production. There are no less ambitious tasks ahead: development in line with leadership and strengthening the country’s technological sovereignty.

All models of the Aurus family are based on a Unified Modular Platform, which was created by FSUE NAMI engineers and has no analogues in the world.
