In Russia, from March 1, students in driving schools will be able to study theory remotely in order to obtain a driver’s license. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to the relevant document.
“Starting in the spring, students will have the opportunity to partially work with materials remotely using special software that will take into account attendance and academic performance,” the publication says.
According to media reports, driving schools retain the right to teach theory to students in person. In addition, future drivers will be able to undergo training not only in classic driving schools, but also in car parks, transport plants and other specialized organizations.
