Russian electric cars will work in a taxi in Cuba

Last week, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin [сообщил](https://motor.ru/news/moskvich-taxi-07-04-2025.htm) that the capital is ready to send to Cuba “Muscovites” to create a local taxi fleet. Now there are details: the cars in the first batch will be 50 – 25 fuel crossovers “Moskvich 3” and the same number of electric “Moskvich 3e”. This was reported by Deptrans of Moscow in his Telegram channel.

Serving a taxi park from fifty Muscovites will be a joint Russian-Kubin enterprise. When exactly the crossovers of the metropolitan assembly will go to Havana, it is still unclear.

The Muscovite is interested not only in the formation of its own taxi fleet in Cuba, but also in the contract assembly of cars and the construction of charging stations for electric vehicles.

The shipment of Muscovites will become part of the expansion of the Russian automobile industry on the island of Freedom: earlier the production of UAZ SUVs were established there.
