Russian Endurance Racing series: Secrets of the season 2025

The new season of the Russian series of endurance races starts. Already on May 24, the first stage will receive participants in the Moscow Raceway Aviation District, and the organizers are waiting for more than thirty crews at the start. There are fewer classes, but some teams have already announced two crews – especially in the GT category.

On May 24, at the Moscow Region Moscow Raceway, the new season of the Russian series of endurance races (REC)-Grand Prix of Auto Mail.ru. Among the main changes in the series are four classes instead of five. At the start of the first stage, more than thirty crews are expected, the second – thirty -five and even more for the final races of the season. On Igor Drive, as part of the Garage Fest festival, the REC stage will gather a full grill – about 46 crews.

The organizers are waiting for new Russian racing equipment, but the details promise to open closer to the first start. The refusal of Shortcut sport prototypes (CN) for security reasons led to an increase in applications in the GT category, so some teams are no longer one, but two crews. For example, this season has stated many new Mercedes and Porsche GT3/GT4, two Lamborghini and several GT Light cars.

From the “new” and unexpected interesting difficulties of this season, you can distinguish restrictions on autrods. The passport of the Moscow Raceway highway limits the starting peloton of forty -six cars, and Igor Drive – forty -four. An agreement with Igor Drive will expand the starting grill to forty -six cars so that the tracks are accepted equal to the number of participants.
